    So my test is on the 29th. I’ve been using my vacation time to study for FAR and I’ve been studying 4-5 hours everyday. I have never studied so much before and the schedule is driving me nuts. I’ve been doing this for over 2.5 weeks and I don’t know if I can even make it until the 29th. I know many of you have studied much more intensely than that and may laugh at what I’m saying. But for me, this is intense studying and I’m not used to it. I want to reschedule my test if possible to the 27th, but then I’m afraid of being unprepared for the exam and I wont be able to schedule it on the 29th if needed. But then again, I never will feel truly prepared for these tests. What do you guys think I should do? Should I reschedule for the 27th? Think about it again in a couple of days?

    Well I think the question is how comfortable do you feel? Granted no one feels prepared enough going into these exams but how have you been doing on the course work recently? I think it's important to just get as much drive in this last period as possible because the only thing worse than studying for FAR is restudying.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!

    Well the only thing I can say with certainty is that I have gone over becker enough times..but the same can't be said for wiley online testbank. I always like to use both of them. I've only done around 200 of the questions of the 1000+. That's what would worry me.

    While I can see that supplementing Becker with Wiley can be beneficial, I've come to find that with FAR there will always be 14 ways that a certain question could be asked in the practice material and the actual exam will probably not even be one of those. As long as you're familiar with the topic, you should be able to get to the answer or at least an educated guess so it could be beneficial for you to move your exam up. There comes a time of studying when you reach a point of diminishing returns.

    I'm so scared of these tests, I like to do everything I possibly can. But I have heard people say FAR is one of becker's strong subjects. And it is a struggle to retain all this information. I guess I should try to decide and figure something out within the next couple of days.

    Two things. Looking at your other test scores I would say dont worry. Secondly I dont know if you can overprepare for FAR. I know its grueling and annoying and time consuming, but better that you spend the next week like that as opposed to having to wait til July to RETAKE the entire test.. no one EVER feels 100% prepared and I think the tests are set up that way. You have to remember no matter what material you use or how much you study the test makers know how you study and what materials you are using. I think these tests are more about mental toughness and being able to function in an allotted time period rather than actually trying to learn every single little mundane thing about FAR that you could possibly cram into your brain (Holy run-on sentence Batman). Good luck, dont change anything now IMO. : )

    Form is temporary, class is permanent.

    Audit 4/19/12 - 77

    Thanks for your input. And you're right, I don't think you can over prepare for this section. Maybe I should just take it on the 29th. 🙁 But I really don't know. I'm really hating my schedule and my brain wants to turn off!

    Honestly 2 days @ 5 hours a day studying. 10 hours of grueling pain? remember June is a closed window, so you cant retake until July…. Just saying : ) Only 10 hours!! Think of it like that instead of 2 days….

    You're definitely not wrong about that. I just feel burnt out, I've actually been studying for this thing since end of February. But perhaps I'll try to do small things in between my studies until the 29th like go out for gelato ice cream…must retain my sanity.

    Don't reschedule, instead take few hours off and regroup…two days won't make a huge difference. Take these two days for light studying…you're so close!! hang in there!!

    I like this quote, “you're already in pain…might as well get reward for it.”

    It seems fitting in our situation studying for FAR🙂 Good Luck!

    I did becker pass master, wiley test bank and wiley mcq in the book once, so total of 3000 questions. I didn't do any practice Sims. 2 days before the exam I had my graduation and then a wedding to go too. So I did merely review the materials before the test except i had 4 hrs of sleep the night before (it in fact affected my performance big time. I couldnt think as clearly :(. So you need to have a good sleep). I thought the worst scenario was failing and retake so I didnt stress out too much. It came out I got a decent score. I think as long as you did all the MCQ and remember the important parts. You'll be fine. Don't worry too much. It'll be over before you know it!

    FAR 5/14 88 PASSED!
    REG 7/13 74 :((((((((....! I cant believe it!!!! I studied so hard...
    REG retake 11/29 -> 89!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    BEC 10/11/12 -> 84!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    AUD 10/25/12 -> 95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm DONE! OMG 8 months of hard work.

    I SHALL PASS. BECAUSE IT'S ME, SO EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!

    @ Misanthrope87: I honestly think you got this in the bag just by looking at your prior test performance.
