    Hi everyone! I hope it’s okay that I’m asking this here. I wasn’t sure where else to ask and since I know you’re all experts I felt this was the best place to go.

    Anyway, I’m planning to go to grad school next fall. I have to take the GMAT though. I’m not looking for a high score, I basically just want around a 500. I want to study so I can be sure I don’t have to retake. Can anyone recommend any study materials for me to use?

    Hope the studying is going well!

    I used the Princeton review book and scored 560, it's a cheaper option. I just got it from Barnes and Noble

    AUD- 74, 81, BEC - 73,82, FAR-82, REG- 77, and DONE!

    I don't think you need anything special for the GMAT. Just buy a review book and study for a month or so.

    FAR 92 - AUD 91 - REG 94 - BEC 86

    The official GMAT books and Princeton Review Cracking the GMAT are pretty good.

    DONE!

    I took the GMAT twice, once cold turkey and once after using Kaplan's GMAT boot camp which runs like $120 for 30 days of access if I remember correctly. I studied the Kaplan material for about 6 hours over the couple days before the exam and raised my score 70 points. The thing I liked about Kaplan is that it is totally focused on strategies for answering the questions. The GMAT's content isn't hard, it's the way they ask questions(ie High School level content asked in a grad school sort of way). The other thing that was great about Kaplan is that it explained how a computer adaptive exam works and how it is scored. If you have the answering strategies and know how the exam is scored, you should be able to do just fine.

    FAR - 98; AUD - 94; REG - 95; BEC - Waiting;
    Becker Scholarship for Success (I got it free :))

    Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to go to Borders and see what they have.
