Anyone try to get a hold of someone at the IDFPR lately? Cant even wait on hold. Just a recorded mesage that says “all lines are busy, experiencing heavy call volume.” This has been going on for 3 weeks.

Hi ppierce. Try calling 217-785-0820. Tell them you are calling to check on an IL CPA license. I did it on Monday (waited on hold for 30 minutes but got through). I also did it a month ago and waited much less.

I was certified on 8/22 and still no license. Seriously ridiculous and inexcusable! Yesterday they said that they are processing my “batch” which are all applications received before September 25th. RIDICULOUS. No wonder why this state is going down the sh1tter.
