Hi all! I just took FAR on Saturday, 4/2/11. I’m wondering what results people ended up with who may have felt the same way about their exam that I do about mine. Just curious if there’s ANY chance of passing? I feel that I probably didn’t do very well on the MCQ’s. Of course there were some I felt sure of, some I took my best guess at, and others that were unfortunately a shot in the dark 🙁 I was able to complete the entire exam, and feel pretty good about the simulations. So…did anyone get a passing score last window on FAR when they felt extremely unsure about the MCQ’s and decent about the sims? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences :o)

Hi Celeste, I posted my FAR experience last month. I thought I didnt do so well because my MCQ Testlets were Easy/Hard/Easy…If I had Easy/hard/hard I would've been happy…I finished early and completed all the sims but was only sure on 3/6 of them + the research. I was worried about getting a 60-74, but ended up with a 79.

hey Herbieherb, congrats on passing everything! you gave me a lot of hope with that post. i felt it was Hard, easy, easy and the second testlet, i knew i did well on it but the third was the same level of difficulty. i had similar experience with the simulations, hopefully i can get the same result as you.

I took FAR 1Q 2011. My MCQ's were not very difficult. My TBS's had a couple easy ones, and a few hard ones. I felt fairly confident about passing. I ended up with a 73. Heart-Breaking. I used Becker…… and studied hard. I think I may try Yaeger Home-study next time.

i feel for you..I'm thinking about the same about Yaeger, i missed out on their previous discount which was better than their current spring sale. Anyone know about any better discounts???

I thought the MCQs went east-hard-easy, though I was pretty confident in most of my choices, I had my score pegged as being between 70 and 85 and ended up with a 96

@Mm glad I can help. If you look my previous FAR post after my exam a lot of other people posted similar experience take a look. Someone with exact same exp as me got an 81. I marked three in first testlet for review, half on 2nd testlet and none on third.

@south0085-Thanks so much for sharing and I'm sorry you ended up with a 73 🙁

@MM23-I guess we're waiting and wondering together! I'm trying to move on to studying for AUD and put FAR out of my mind for now…it's hard!!!

@BobTheCPAlmost-Thanks for sharing 🙂 What amazing scores! Your hard work is paying off! Yeah, I'm guestimating my score somewhere between 67 and 77…who knows.

I took FAR last weekend and estimate my score to be between 70 and 80. Heh!! Though if I screwed up big time on the questions I knew, I could have possibly done worse. Argh!

I thought my testlets went easy – very difficult – difficult. It's odd since there are only medium difficult and difficult testlets, but that's how I felt. I just gotta wait and see what my score is…. I'm waiting right along with you, lol.
