I just got a career low on my CPA exam career, a 70 on REG

As I know, the score report is absolutely useless, I scored stronger and comparable on the all taxation section but weaker in business law and secured transaction

I would like to know What materials did you use to pass on next attempts

Is scoring a 70 on REG a close one or there’s some work to do

I only have 3 more chances before my first one expires…I m panicing now

please help

How do you figure that the score report is useless? You scored weaker in business law and secured transactions. I'd say that is pretty useful information.

A 70 isnt that close, you still have some work to do.

How did you compare on the overall MCQ/SIMS?

I got 73 on my first try. I took my second one with supplement from ninja 2012 notes and still using my becker 2011 book. Frankly on my first try, I felt for sure i passed the exam because it was so similar, however on second test it was nothing like my first one, more wordy n complicated mcq. Both exam i got weak on my simulation, so becker simulation is not good in preparing you. Try to get supplement from wiley. Ninja notes is good because it summarizes all the important point (thanks a lot Jeff). I passed my second try with 78. Be sure you know all your material because its very broad and they like to test every single detail.

Kobe from your scores you already know the answers to how close a 70 is/can be. From my own experience a 71 is just as far away as a 49 is.

I used Wiley for REG.

REG -56,75!
BEC -75

Hey KB, I passed REG w/ using only Becker. I would say that I was lucky enough to master other parts because ancillary material was tested quite a bit.
