    Finally got my NTS.

Since this is my first time ever taking an exam section, I need some insight.

    I’m reviewing (again) the material.

This time I’m reading my notes (taken during Becker DVD lectures), then redoing the supplemental questions (which are a little tougher) for each lecture.

I do have Becker Final Review as well.

I’m done now reviewing F1-F6, about to do F7 after lunch, and then onto F8-F9 (which I never reviewed before, so I’ll need addtl time).

If I schedule my test for Monday, would this be a good plan?

    – Today and tomorrow: Finish reviewing F7 to F9

    Friday: Becker simulated exam #1

    Saturday: All-day Becker Final Review

    Sunday: Becker simulated exam #2

    Thanks!

I was approved yesterday at 6pm.

I immediately selected the exam sections.

My selection was sent to NASBA sometimes in the evening.

At 4am this morning I got the email from NASBA with the payment coupon.

At 7am when I woke up I immediately paid the fees online on nasba.org

And at noon I got my NTS in the email from NASBA.

If you're in California, they're superslow. It takes about 6 weeks. I sent in my last transcript the first week of June and I got approved yesterday.

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

As italianCPA implied, the NTS is separate from the CBA application approval time frame if you're in CA. They need to approve you first; then getting the NTS (after payment coupon and sending payment) is pretty quick (2-3 days max).

    FAR 92 - AUD 91 - REG 94 - BEC 86

    Hi Potatogun,

You did really well on your FAR exam. Congratulations!! Do you mind to share some of your experiences? What materials you used? how you studied for it? I took FAR twice and failed both times. I used becker and I always felt I had to rush through the MQ to get to simulations. I really appreciate if you can share your thoughts.

    Thanks.
