First test – AUD in Nov then which test in January?

I noticed that slots for January were almost filled at my testing center when I was scheduling to take my first test (AUD) on November 21. Therefore, I should schedule to take a second exam now so that I can get a January slot. I was originally planning on FAR as my second test but with tax season approaching I am thinking REG would be a god one take in January. Any recommendations on which test I should take as my second test if I plan to take in January? I should have 30-40 days to study in advance.

I think most people agree to take the more difficult sections first. With that said, I would recommend you take FAR if you think REG will be easier.

For me, I hated tax so I took REG first and then put AUD in between so I wasn't taking REG and FAR back to back.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

Great, thanks so much for the input. Looks like its FAR in February!
