I am ready to go for my first shot at FAR. I am going crazy trying to kill the last couple or hours until my exam…

I have my NTS and ID’s ready to go. I havent done any review or studying today, but I planned on lightly reading some notes in my car when I arrive early.

Any last minute tips?

FAR is a long exam…last time I took it, I remember cursing myself for not using the restroom beforehand…as common sense as it sounds..remember to use the restroom beforehand!

Last time I spent too much time on MC's and didn't leave enough for SIMs (1 hr 15 min)…the MC's you are struggling with are not worth racking your brain over as you'll need time for SIMs. I hope you're good at Journal Entries..when I took it in August 2012, 5 of 7 were JE

this sounds weird, but i always go to the bathroom before i walk into prometrics and then go again after i sign in. better safe than sorry. every minute counts in FAR and having to sign out and then back in once in the test can easily cost you 7-10 minutes.

I have contrary advice for MCQ's that are taking longer than usual… IF you absolutley know how to do the problem and you are messing it up I would spend a little time on it. I had two questions I knew how to calculate but because of nerves everytime I looked over my work I found problems. These were (in our world) elementary problems. I spent the time to get them right and I know that had something to do with my passing. It was worth it to me, so just gauge it by if you know what you are doing or just stabbing in the dark.
