Just took AUD.. and im pretty sure since I guessed on 5 out of the 7 sims (and I mean 100% guess), I will retake it. But for now I have FAR scheduled First week of October.

How should I spend my time studying?

    My plan:

Watch lecture, read the book, and do all MCQ’s within 2 days.. (i hope).

    Any other advice?

I should of took FAR right before REG. I am mentally exhausted. I should not of left it for last.. ahh.

I don't think it's possible to watch all lectures, read the entire book, and do all the MCQ in 2 days.

First of all, there are something like 1,500 MCQs and 25-30 hours of lecture.

Even if you went speedy gonzales on everything, what kind of quality are you really getting out of everything? Probably not much.

If your exam is the first week of Oct, then why on earth do you want to speed through everything in 2 days?

I say, spend 3.5 weeks going through all the lectures/mcq, then spend another ~1.5 weeks reviewing.

    FAR: 87
    AUD: 86
    BEC: 86
    REG: 84! Officially Done!

Hahaha no!!! I meant for every chapter I watch the lecture, make notes in the book all the highlights etc, and then I go back and read the chapter. The next day I do all the MCQ's. I didn't mean do everything in 2 days.. WOW!

Your scores say a lot about your studying method: it's working for you.

What study program are you using? I know that for some programs (like Wiley) there are so many modules that by the time you get done with the last one, you've forgotten the first half of what you studied. I would recommend taking time to review previous sections every so often and also leave the last week or week and a half for a full review.

    Best of luck!

Im using Becker right now, and used the wiley test bank with REG, and only did the econ/it mcq's for BEC. For AUD I didn't have time.

I keep hearing that FAR is hard because of the massive information in it.. so I am unsure how best to go on about it. But maybe the way I've been doing it is good. Im just not sure if its enough time. I dont work atm, I take it on a Friday, I start Big 4 job on Monday..

Do you take progress tests? How have your scores on those compared to the real thing?

@futuremdcpa, if you start studying asap it's very possible to get ready by October. I took off 3 weeks from work and put in about 10-12 hour days every day and I felt I was ready enough to take it. You have a bit more time (4 weeks) so you should be OK if you put in the time. I have a similar system as you: watch lecture, go through the chapter on my own, do MCQ. I could do all that in 2 days per chapter.

    AUD 88 | FAR 79 | BEC 81 | REG 82 |
