Financial Resources vs. Economic Resources

    In governmental accounting what are the main differences between “current financial resources” (used in the governmental funds financial statements) and “economic resources” (used in the other financial statements)? I have never been able to find a definitive answer to this. If anyone can clear it up for me I would appreciate it!
