    Which financial accounting reference book do you guys recommend as a reference for FAR exam?

    Do you mean study material book, or a college style textbook?

    I just got the Kieso Intermediate Accounting text (McGraww Hill). I got the 14th edition used for about 50 bucks (don't both with the 15th new, but I think it was worth getting beyond 13 because that may not have all the IFRS stuff in it). One word of caution, someone said the area on consolidations was not in-depth in the text, but I think it is good for other subjects.
