Is financial accounting the same as principles of accounting? What are the differences or similiarties? I Might need to take one more accounting course to fullfil 15o rule. Thank you

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but I just want to say that make sure your state board will accept the course (if you plan on taking it) and not consider it an overlap with a course you already took and therefore not qualified. I was once told that my state board wouldn't necessarily accept certain courses I was taking if the material overlapped with that of another course I already took.

Though how that really makes sense I don't know, because many courses have overlapping material and the state board accepts them.

So maybe I just misunderstood the coordinator, or maybe he wan't clear in his email. Either way, it's something to look out for.
