I haven’t posted in a while but am here because I’m really scared. I started studying for FAR in October, and my exam is scheduled for Jan 4. I am doing Chapter 9 today and if I don’t finish today, I’ll finish it tomorrow.
My favorite chapter so far has been chapter 8, and I think chapter 9 I like as well even though I just started it now. (Govt and NFP) I think that might be a good thing because everyone says that’s a major part of the exam? Is it and how major exactly?
The problem for me is, that I think I forgot everything that I learned before, and I haven’t done a progress test in a few weeks. (Yes, I got lazy and am admitting it now)
Now, I’m scared I won’t pass, because there’s no way to remember everything up to this point and I feel that I’m screwed. That, and a lot of my coworkers found out they failed FAR a few weeks ago.
What advice and someone give me? I took the first week of Jan off to study. Which means only 3 days of cramming without work in the way.
I’m actually scared beyond belief. The biggest problem for me is the calculation questions. I see a large calculation problem and I automatically freak out….
After I take this on Jan 4, I’m studying for only 1 week to retake AUD for a 3rd times the charm scenario hopefully.
I’d like to be 75% done with this exam by the time busy season starts, AT least 50% done.
Sorry for the rambling, I’m just a nervous wreck.
