Today I start my final review, exam is roughly 2.5 weeks away. How have you guys studied final review. Take both practice exams in the end? Do you focus on each chapter and move from there?

Looking for tips – I want to know what you guys have done and if it’s worked!

Confidence is a prerequisite for success

    FAR - 1/1
    AUD - 1/1
    BEC - 1/1
    REG - Q4

Have Becker, wish I got Roger

What has worked for me is rewriting notes marathon style and then doing short quizzes (10-20 questions) in each area and tracking my scores. Once I target my weak areas (anything below 70s) I review those notes carefully and start a second round of quizzes, starting with my weakest area first, and so on. I cannot do this with Becker progress tests, but if you have WTB it helps if you are in study mode so you can see the answer right away.

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! πŸ˜€

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently πŸ™‚

I studied notes, did MCQ like crazy, went over areas where I felt weakest, completed the AICPA released question for the previous 3 years, completed the AICPA practice exam on their website. Instead of doing an entire practice exam, I just kept doing MCQ in blocks of about 30 each. I also took time to think about the exam in terms of its structure and time management.

I hope that helps you out.
