this week: finish the remaining CPAexcel lectures and the associated MCQ, also do 30 Wiley MCQ per day

next week: 90 Wiley MCQ Monday-Saturday, rewrite 20 pages of NINJA notes per day Monday-Friday and then read over the whole thing on Saturday

exam week: 90 Wiley MC Monday-Friday, rewrite 20 pages of NINJA notes per day Monday-Friday, take the exam Saturday

Also, if anyone knows, where should I fit the NINJA audio into this (and how many times should I listen to it)?

Listen as many times as you need to. It is not long or tedious. I turn it on in the car and before I go to bed or when my eyes are tired from the computer and reading. Go for it.

@CPA Romantic – I am taking FAR on Tuesday. I am using CPAExcel only. If I fail FAR, I will probably supplement CPAExcel with Ninja notes and/or the Wiley test bank. How do you find supplementing CPAExcel with Ninja and Wiley? I think CPAExcel is enough, but may find the hard way that it's not…

In the home stretch, I am going over the lectures again, and doing MCQs for each section.

LOVE the Ninja audio. Listen to as many times as you can….brushing your teeth, shower, eating, driving, etc. I don't know how long your drive is to the test center, but def. listen to it on your way there!!

    Good Luck!!

PS: Don't forget to use the research tab for SIMs you aren't familiar with! Sometimes you can find lots of useful information in it!

I like to listen to Ninja Audio in the car! I have a long commute and its an easy way to sneak in an extra 1.5-2 hours painlessly. I also suggest rewriting the Ninja Notes while listening to the Ninja Audio! It breaks up the monotony of recopying the Ninja Notes by making it feel more interactive. The Audio follows the notes closely so it is easy to follow along! Take a short section and give it a shot! 🙂

Best of luck with your prep!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

@Getting a CPA – I think one can pass with CPAexcel only. But I chose to get the Wiley Test Bank because I like its interface better than CPAexcel's. Wiley Test Bank has the option of random questions with immediate feedback after each answer. For CPAexcel, the immediate feedback option is only available for the questions of a particular lecture, and the random sets of questions are only available in exam mode, where you don't get feedback until after you finish the whole set.

And I chose to get the Ninja notes/audio as a sort of final review, cause there is a crapload of information for FAR. I try to get all my CPAexcel stuff done so that in my final 2 weeks, I plan to do 90 Wiley MCQ per day (for a total of 1080), copy the Ninja notes twice, and read over the notes and listen to the Ninja audio twice. As far as if the review materials and/or my game plan actually works, we'll find out lol.
