Filling out simulations on actual FAR Exam

This may be a stupid question but on simulations for any exam do I have to fill out every single blank spot for it to be fully credited?

    For example:

If I had a journal entry and I need to debit one side…should I put a “0” or a “-” in the credit area? and if I dont need to add anymore entries, do i have to put “No entry required” for EACH blank spot?

Also, if a research question asks for the ‘section’ it can be located in, that means I shouldn’t add the specific paragraph its found in right?

I usually put a zero just to be safe

    AUD 79 (7/14)
    FAR 78 (7/14)
    REG 78 (8/14)
    BEC 81 (10/14)

Read the instructions very carefully. I didn't notice it in the homework sims I did, but on the exam, my instructions would say something like “enter a 0” or “select no entry required” for lines that did not require data.

I never filled in any of my JE's with “blank” or “0”, unless the entire entry they were asking for was not necessary. Then I would just put “No entry required” in the first box. My score would indicate that it probably doesn't matter, but that's just my guess.

I was worried about it too. However, in the exam the directions were very specific. If it said “no entry required” I didn't put a 0.

    Thanks for your responses =)

What approach did you all take to passing FAR? Test is in 11 days and I could use a little push or a study format to follow

LilEngine, I went through my book again and took notes on the things I was having trouble remembering. I also practiced MCQs and all the sims, and did my Ninja Flashcards and Blitz. Make sure you understand accounting for govt and nonprofit for sure.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
