Feeling worse thinking about rescheduling than my fail.

I keep going to the prometric site to reschedule my test that’s tomorrow evening, only to close the browser and feel totally defeated. I’m not sure if I can even reschedule without losing my fees at this point. I’m not certain why I feel worse for rescheduling, but I do. Any suggestions for coping and/or what to do?

    Thanks!

If you are going to lose your fee, dont reschedule, just take the test. Even if you did zero studying, just take it because you paid for it and you just never know, you might be able to scrape by with at 75.

    FAR- 75
    REG- 82
BEC- 73, 79!! Its over. Am I dreaming?
    AUD- 74, 74, 88

I toyed with the idea of rescheduling as well because I did not feel ready to face REG at all but I convinced myself that a few more days will not do me much good. I took it on Saturday and, althought I'm not very confident in my performance, I'm surely glad that I just bit the bullet and decided to give it a shot anyway. Unless you're completely bombing your practice quizzes, I think you should just go in and give it your best tomorrow. I'm willing to bet that you'll feel better for giving it an honest shot now.

@ShantiK1: Since your exam is tomorrow, I don't think you can reschedule. Rescheduling withing 24 hours is disallowed and you basically forfeit your exam. I agree with above, might as well go in there and do your best to make some educated guesses since you can't get your $ back.

Thanks for the response everybody! Right after I posted, I decided if nothing else I'll do a Hail Mary and see if I can pass. I wasn't too sure as far as the 24 hour cut off (my appt is at 5:30 pm) and just didn't want to risk losing the money without trying.

I really do appreciate the support I get and see here. I wasn't feeling that this morning when my husband said he'd watch the kiddos and proceeded to make more noise than they have in the last week. I know I should've either put the kids in day care or find a coffee shop or something, so not really his fault. At least I know how I need to work it for the next test.

Good luck tomorrow! Just do your best! I have two little ones too and it is definitely hard to study at home so I head to the library any chance I get much easier to study around people who are studying and QUIET! 🙂

Well I just got back and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I couldn't remember a couple of formulas, but they only popped up on a few questions. Lots of theory (phew!) and the WC weren't from outer space. I managed to take advantage of my teenager staying home from school today to watch the little kids. She does such a better job at keeping them from turning into loud demons.

@Ashley I've checked out the library hours many times, not believing how lame they truly are. They are closed Sundays and Mondays and the other days are arbitrary so I can never remember if it's an early day or a late that they're open. Need to figure something out. I've still got FAR and AUD to take.

Thank you again everybody! I can't tell you enough how great it feels to know how supportive we can be of each other! I hope everyone who's taken a test recently passes!!
