    Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if any one of you guys felt good after taking the exam but then still failed?? I’m getting a little anxious because I felt good with my FAR mcq’s, and felt ehhh on the SIMs. But overall, i think I passed. Should I not keep my hopes up or does one really pass when he/she FELT good about the test?

Can anyone compare this to how they were feeling BEFORE the exam? It's one thing to think you passed when you were only scoring 60s-70s on the homework/practice tests and then fail. I would think It's another to be scoring 80-90s on the homework and practice tests and thinking you passed, or at least I hope so! It would be extremely disappointing to be consistently scoring in the 90s in preparation and think you passed, and then fail!

I always score 90+ on the practice MCQs, but once you enter your password at Prometric you get the chills..You have to be mentally strong…cuz the CPA exam separates men from children…amen..hahaha

yes , when I took the Audit exam!!!!!

I thought i passed but i end up getting 62! I was so shocked and disheartened for 2 days. I even thought to re-evaluate it . I did comparative in MCQ and weaker in SIM ( as per my report).. BUT 62!!!! I can still feel the pain!

And in regulation , missed whole sim and research question , I messed up mcq. I knew it, I wont pass the exam but still got 69 . so i was ok with it ! that result dint affect me emotionally.

So this time I am not even gona think about it (what so ever!)……. If I fail, I will improve , I wont give up! 😀

CPATerminator, are you just talking about test anxiety or something more? I've never really had test anxiety at all, but one thing that relaxed me even more last test was taking an absolutely stupid looking picture. When they signed me in for me to put in the password where they have your picture, I looked at it and almost burst out laughing. I had to control myself and just smile. I did that for about 5 seconds before I realized the proctor was waiting for me to put in the password. From there, I was pretty relaxed throughout the test.
