Well is kind of frustrating to go back to your material and realize that you need to study (review) deeply again because of the extensive amount of information that my brain is not retaining.. My exam is on Sat and I travel to the States on Friday

I’m impressed with people studying few hours all this information… The good thing is I’m doing better in my study learning. “techniques”. now I know what to do better for AUD.

    Have you feel the same?

You have no idea..going back to studying REG 2 months after taking it and the material feels new again..it's like studying all over again..I don't even want to think about studying FAR, that exam is hell..I don't think anyone in the history of taking the CPA exam felt prepared for FAR lol

    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔

I agree with CPA soon, I doubt anyone has ever felt prepared for FAR. I felt terrible going in, worse once taking it, and worse still going out. I was absolutely positive I failed. But I passed.

You really cannot go by your feelings about this exam. (There are a few exceptions of course.) Don't try to predict anything, just do your best at studying. Once you're in the exam try to stay calm and focused and answer each question to the best of your ability. Don't waste time second-guessing yourself. There will be questions that come out of left field. Guess at those and move on to the ones you know better and work them out.

I see a lot of people here flag questions and then go back to them. If that is helpful, go for it. Personally I never flagged anything. I made a decision on each question in order and left it at that. It seemed to me that flagging will use up valuable minutes but again, that's just me.

My exam is on this Sat too. I've been scoring in 70s and I definitely feel unprepared for this beast. The good thing is I learned from my mistakes and hopefully they will save me some points on the big day. Good luck to you CPAhereIam

you'll never feel prepared. I am a few weeks away from my FAR retake and I'm still trying to get everything down. reread your weak spots and attack them until they're your strongest. only way to feel a bit more comfortable.

I've never felt prepared for far, but I've passed it 2 of 2 times. Do Becker (or someone else's) final review. It'll help you lock down some easy, but forgettable, questions. Also don't sweat the small stuff. If you're having a lot of trouble with one concept, skip it. It'll probably only be one or two questions on the test, and you may be able to use that time to pick up those points and more in other areas.
