I was reading that the FASB conceptual framework is now replaced by the codification. does that mean that the Reliability, Relevance and other constraints and components of this framework are no longer relevant to the 2012 exam? I am honestly very confused

as far as I understand, things are pretty much the same since the July 2011 testing window, where they are updated but not completely replaced. If you are using some study program, they should have provided the updates since July, I know Yeager did. Not much new will happen in the first few months of 2012. Just hit IFRS hard!

There were a few changes to the conceptual framework. They are well represented on Becker's Updates with suggested changes to the passmaster software and to the flash cards.

I don't have the 2012 material but it should already be in there. Typically, new pronouncements become fair game for the exam within 6 months of the effective date (if there is an effective date).

As you can see from the below, not a lot happened after July 2011 that you'll have to worry too much about until after July 2012.
