    Hello Friends,

I am going to sit for FARE on 22nd this month. I will be done with my review today, but i am damm tensed as i have strong feeling that i dont retain anything from prior chapters. My study material is Becker (exclusively). I have only 9 days to revise my material and be ready for the test.

Is there any one who have been in this type of situation anytime. Please advice what will be the best way to study effectively and efficiently so that i can be confident enough to sit for the exam.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Please, please please…..Looking forward to have some help from you guys…

One more thing i cant postpone my exam due to NTS expiration issue…want to give my best shot to this beast..this is my 1st attempt for entire CPA exam process and i am really nervous about this FARE.

    Many thanks in advance

all the best to all you out there who is preparing for tests during this window…

The best way to test your knowledge is drilling the MCQ as much as possible. For the last 9 days, I would redo all the MCQs and rewrite your notes. Good Luck!

    MCQ MCQ MCQ MCQ MCQ

    Practice! Practice! Practice!

And for every question you get wrong, make sure you read the answer explanation and understand why its wrong. It's better to miss the question when you're at home practicing than it is to get a similiar question and miss it on the test!

Are you using Becker Review. If so, then i advise you do as much progress tests as you can because that will tell you which sections you're having most difficulty on.

Make sure you know shareholder's equity good (I mean inside out).

I think going through quizzes will be really critical to know your weak areas. Then, going over the lecture or reading it will help. I did 30 Qs per section (F1 – 30 Q , F2- 30Q, etc), and after I was done, I took the final.

    Good luck!

    B - (4/2012)
    A - (5/2012)
    R - (1/2012) Done!
    F - (10/2011) Done!

I would use the simulated exams/progress tests to see your weakest areas and where to focus. Then, retake to see your next weakest area, etc.

I agree with zizoty…MCQ and rewrite notes.

Becker does have a good final review product but that's $$. My take has always been, “it's the luck of the question.” Jeff has a a great cram guide. Don't freak out, just use your time wisely…hint hint Jeffs cram guide.

Good luck…may the Olinto be with you.
