HAuahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I schedule to sit for the exam for May 31, and I start April 1 my study plan. I’m full student for the CPA exam. I plan to study every day ( monday to friday 6 hours, saturday and sunday 5 hours) for the next two months ( 61 days). I plan to write 25 ninja notes per date(write and listen ), and 200MCs per day. I have Becker Mcs, Wiley test bank and Release question (2006-2012). I plan to use only NInja Notes, but I have Becker books. That is my plan, I want the ninja opinion, tips, advice, etc?????????????????????????????

I would use a video course in conjunction with the notes. People have passed using only the notes, audio, and software – but it's not recommended as a best practice.

I agree with jeff to get some videos to go with your studies ( he said it first)…but I was going to go your route because I thought I would not be able to afford the video course. I purchased the part I wanted to take only….I was trying to purchase the complete set to try and save money but my mind would go to if I fail and I have all these parts waiting. So if money is a concern, purchase one part at a time if you get videos. I don't have becker and don't know how much their videos cost but I personally enjoy Yaeger but Roger is good too so……

I looooooove Roger- I'm sitting for FAR on May 10 and I'm on the 3rd of out of 8 sections and I think he does a great job. I think Rogers would be a really good option for someone studying and working full time because he breaks the sections up into really manageable pieces and his lectures are entertaining. I've heard people rave about Yaeger but I couldn't do it because I found the lectures to be incredibly dry and boring so it just wasn't a good option for me. I would definitely recommend doing a full course because in the end, you'll probably waste more time trying to figure out why the MCQ's are right/wrong and how to do them, then you would just listening to the lecture and doing the homework.

I am also taking FAR on May 31. However, I start studying May 1rst. If you want, I can post a schedule I am using to study (It is pretty detailed). Keep in mind I am only working 12 hours a week until my examinations are complete.

Jaimcpa@ for me is ok, I appreciate a schedule, I start yesterday with FARE, but I study for Bec too. I dedicate about 6 hours per day for Bec, and 3 or 4 hours for FARE(depends of my emotion 80)). I start in full wiht FARE in May 1, so is a good idea a good Schedule.

Couple things to note:

1. This is an aggressive schedule.

2. This is tailored with a flexible work schedule (12 hour weeks).

3. Depending on how much time you have allotted for review days, you might not go through all 14 days (I won't, at the most I am giving my self 6-7 days review).

4. The time periods for breaks are specifically tailored to me, I can handle 3-4 hours straight sometimes.

5. The total hours shown include review days.

6. Switch out anything that says personal/clean to whatever you like.
