So I took FAR yesterday – the mcq’s were not bad at all… I was getting around 50-60’s on the Becker practice exams so I was concerned, but I felt as if I did very well on the mcq section. HOWEVER, the simulations were ridiculous. I was lucky to get 2 research simulations, but the other 5 were a joke.

Redkard – I had the same exact experience yesterday as you except for the research simulations. Its a little refreshing to know Im not the only one who got kicked in the nuts by the SIMS

Yeah, I mean I probably got a few things right here and there on the simulations, but I can say with confidence that I probably didn't get a single one perfectly right. I'm just hoping I the sims didn't hurt me, especially after seeing that people have skipped entire sims and still passed!

Thats what Im hoping. I know for a fact I didnt any of the SIMS entirely correct except for the Research.

My boss took FAR back when there was only 2 SIMS. She skipped one of them entirely and still passed. Im holding out hope but the SIMS just really kicked me in the balls. I felt pretty good after the MC too

I had a similar experience. My MCQ's weren't easy though. First testlet was kinda hard, 2nd was haaaard, 3rd wasn't bad. Sims were ridiculous. Each one was extremely long. It was like the two we had on FAR in 2010, times 3.

I felt terrible when I left. I have never felt that bad after a test.
