I am currently up to F5 of the Becker CPA review and planning on doing the Ninja MCQ’s after I finish the lectures. Do you guys think I have enough time to sit for the exam in early April? Have been slacking a little with the Becker HW but planning on doing those and Ninja once I push through the lectures.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks

If you're up to F5, you should be good. Make a goal to finish all the lectures by early March so you have a couple of weeks to review and study. You need to go through all of the homework though. I've found two times for each question in Becker plus some NINJA to supplement my review has worked for me so far.

If you can take it you'll make it. Just work yourself to the bones and you'll be OK. If this exam was easy, everyone would pass.

    AUD - July 2014 - 76
    REG - August 2014 - 82
    FAR - November 2014 - 78
    BEC - January 2015 - 81

    DONE!!!!

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

@Drping11: I have the same feeling for you. I only have 12 weeks to study (but played 2 weeks- I am so stupid), and I am catching up like crazy. I finished all chapters in 1 months, and used 2 weeks to review the materials. I am going to do all MCQ and Sims in two weeks before the exam. I definitely don't feel ready at all, and I have the idea of failing before taking it. However, I am cramping 23 hrs/wk to study while working full time. Therefore, I think you are absolutely in a good shape, and don't give up! Hiyaaaaa

I feel like getting through the lectures first and doing all the problem over and over while still reading my note should be the best thing for me

Getting through all the lectures and the first pass through the homework is the hardest and most time consuming part. The review phase isn't that bad.

I didn't feel ready for the exam until after the score release

Dude, I think if you were thinking about starting to study this weekend, you'd be fine for April.

I started studying for FAR today and am planning to sit April 10. I think you'll be fine.
