I just took FAR and I am about to start BEC. Has anyone taken both yet? I’d like to know the difficulty of BEC vs FAR.

I took FAR 4 weeks ago and studying for BEC (to be taken 8/31).

BEC is a much shorter program, but don't let it fool you.

I think FAR is volume and exercise.

BEC definitely needs more understanding as you generally have to understand the concept behind it when answering a MCQ.

I would say BEC is easier as long as you do alright on the multiple choice… without having simulations it can be tricky but it's alot less material to go over. It all depends on what material is more your style… I was jsut happy to have 5 chapters to go over (2-3 of which were pretty simple for me) than to have 9 chapters of so many different accounting classes thrown into one test. I took FAR and then BEC and I thought BEC was much easier. If you know the stuff well you will do fine, there is no simulations to mess you up. I studied differently though for stuff that is tested in MCQ form vs. stuff that is tested in simulation/open ended format….. good luck!
