Has anybody dropped off the face of the earth (not literally, of course) while studying for FAR? Like, you ignore phone calls, give up social media, become a phantom? I just want to see if I’m not alone. I’m currently unemployed, so I have the luxury of worshiping FAR atm.

Yes, FAR was very hard for me as well, I took it 7x and lost all the other parts passed.

I now have to retake REG and AUD.

FAR made my life miserable and if it was not for this site I think I would have given up

even though I had passed 3 parts prior to FAR.

I thought I was not smart enough but then I saw here that there are other people

struggling just like me and I felt better and kept on.

FARE is hard….Its the volume that destroys people's confidence. I took FARE first devoted 3 months part time to it. Reviwed with 2 different cpa courses. I struggled a lot with the logic of Bonds and some leases etc and one review course was not detailed enough for me…Make constant notes and review the notes every 2 weeks. Dont committ the mistake of reviewing all of it at the end. You will confuse all the rules, atleast thats what i did….

Yeah, those are good summaries of how I feel. It's good to know that other people feel it's a lot of material. I keep hacking away at it (chop, chop) lol.
