I keep coming back to this thread since I will be taking FAR on Saturday. I am so nervous, this is my first exam. What are the areas that you are focusing on your final review?
@Pinaycpa- Good luck on Sat! I reviewed all of IFRS yesterday, and Govt & NFP the day before. I know those are usually a big chunk of the exam. Today I am just going through every Becker examples in the book and completing around 5-8 MCQ's per topic. Hopefully this keeps everything fresh. What are your plans?
I am using Wiley so IFRS is all over the place. I am planning to tackle the SIMS in the Wiley book tonight and then take a time off tomorrow to go over Govt & NFP. I will go over with my notes on Saturday before the exam. There's nothing much I can go for now. Well, GODLUCK for tomorrow. Please let us know how it goes.
You guys are giving a lot of good advices! I am wondering if you guys ever feel that you are fully prepared for FAR. There are so much materials and details. I am going through the homework questions the second time and have weak areas in each chapter. I am scoring on an average of 75%. my test is next Monday. In your opinion, do you think I should postpone my exam?
@Fanfan22 – I don't think anyone ever feels fully prepared for FAR. It is such a beast, and there are way too many variables. Do the best you can, 75% is not a bad avg. as the questions in the material are usually harder than the exam.
