Hi Everyone,

Looking for some advice….

My FAR Exam is scheduled for 7/20. I am just starting F5 and I would like to do a final review 2 weeks prior to my exam. I took the week before my exam off from work to really cram.

Anyways, I am just feeling really defeated by my multiple choice progress. I will listen to a module in Becker then take the corresponding multiple choice questions and only move forward when I got 100% of them right, taking notes on the missed ones. And repeat until I am complete with a chapter. Then as I move forward I take progress tests. The problem is I am not retaining any information that I previously learned, getting 30-40% of the questions correct. It’s completely making me lose interest in studying. I am getting so worried that I will not be ready for my exam on 7/20.

I also have been utilizing the NINJA audio and notes when I get a free second at work.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm just starting F5 too and I'm taking it the 19th. Don't spend so much time trying to get 100% right.Take your notes and review them instead. Repetion is the key plus you need to understand the concepts not just how to do the problems. I think it's best to learn what you can some will stick and then really hone your knowledge at review time. That's my plan anyway.

Thanks @zakahracw, I think I am getting to caught up in seeing 100% completed rather than really retaining the information.

I'm taking it July 13thI just finished the lecture for F9 and feel like I am at a road block too. When I look at material from the first few section, I feel like I barely remember it. A lot of this government and not-for-profit accounting is so different too. Seems demotivating. I am hoping it gets better when I finish F10 and start reviewing it all together! Only way to find out is to keep pushing strong!

I just did a day review of F1 and F2 and still get caught up on stuff. I thought maybe I would get more right but on a few topics I just don't get it right. So I guess that's how it's going to be until review and possible forever. I am so glad that I can go at my own pace even though I worry that I am too slow.
