@millerg, I had the same experience..(i took the exam 8/30). I thought the multiple choice were relatively easy (the first testlet was harder compared to the rest though) and my sims were hard… i finished all the sims, didnt leave anything blank, i guessed on all the ones i didnt know, which were a lot of them. i feel like if i pass, i wouldnt be surprised and if i failed, i wouldnt be surprised either. ahhh!

many on here mention that if the mcq get harder per testlet, you will most likely pass, so with my experience, that definitely did not apply 🙁

In my AUD and FAR exams, I didn't feel like the MC testlets got any harder at all.

In my REG exam, I definitely felt like they did. However I always felt less comfortable with REG than the other two sections.

I think if you know the material well, nothing they throw at you will seem like it's getting harder. And that is a good thing.

OK I AM DONE THE BEAST (retake pending lol) – The good news, the test was not that bad… I had seen everything in some form before. My first testlet was def. medium difficult and second was way more difficult, oh and the third… cakewalk lol.. Hopefully that doesn't matter. Now the sims, felt pretty good through the entire first sim! the next one though, ugh not a good experience.. I did the written comm and research. Then there was like 25 minutes left and I probably stared at the screen for 15 minutes… in the time remaining I took some decent educated guesses. If I had to put a grade on the exam I would say got a 70…

Trevor!! Glad to see you are DONE with it!! I am gonna get a coffee and bagel and start reviewing! Maybe do some MCQs. Seemed like yours didn't go terrible though and if you think you got a 70..you probably got an 80!

Well I certainly hope you are right.. I just hope they grade the first simulation. I am not concerned about the difficulty of the testlets because the way I see it is, if i get an easier testlet where each is worth less it's certainly better than getting a hard one and not getting any right!!

Trevor! I got my coffee, my bagel and have done 10 MCQs. lol I dunno at this point I just wanna take the exam and get it over with. I am hoping I can figure out a majority of the MCQs!!

I feel like I have already taken the exam. For my BEC exam I was a mad woman going through my review and doing MCQs and reviewing my notes – probably because I felt 100% more prepared. I am already burned out and I haven't even taken it yet!

Yea, I know how that feels. It feels wierd after it though… just the uncertaintly. I can say things that would make me think I passed, but also downfalls where I can say I failed… Hopefully they graded the first simulation, that's all I can hope for. good luck, I am sure you'll tame the beast!

Trevor buddy talk to me am sitting at a starbucks about 10 mins away from my testing center. I don't get in till 5.30pm a good 6 hours from now. I thought I would drive to my testing center much earlier since its a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from my house. I swear am so uneasy not relaxed and right now am blanking out on everything. How was your exam dude

I feel you whonis – I have to leave in about an hour and a half. I just did 10 MCQs on investments though and got 8/10 right so that made me feel better! lol

There is just so much material and you have no idea what they are gonna test you on!

Are you doing MCQs or just reviewing your notes?
