    per Becker

any conversion, exercise, or contingent issuance that has an ant-idilutive effect (increasses EPS or decreases loss per dhare) is not included in the calculation. No anti-dilution is presented.

Thanks Trevor. It was more a question than an assessment. Anyway good luck to all of us tomorrow. Don't forget we can easily get lost and use/lose 10 min on one question especially in FAR. At least for me I am thinking I have to trade off so those questions (ie give up) to answer other questions. What are your strategies and how much time for writing?

normally I read the WC requirement and then do part of the sim – all the while thinking about it in the back of my mind. Spend a minute or so jotting down thoughts and then write and quickly edit. It is easy to spend too much time – but it is worth 10 points. If the sim is very hard I plan on making sure the WC is good.

    What's your plan?

FARSUXCPA (love the username!) you are right with the first part…no idea on the second part!

cpajourney – already have my NTS printed out! 🙂 I have 1/2 a tank, which is plenty for me.

Trevor – I know I procrastinate soo bad!

I just filled my car with gas am basically doing very light studying today. I figured what ever I have retained better not disrupt it with new material. Its all in the hands of God. I am already visualizing a retake in FAR… lol..

Sorry, yes if the EPS is anti-dilutive (Diluted EPS > Basic EPS) then Diluted EPS will match that of Basic EPS. And for stock spilts, the shares should act as if they had always been 2,3, or 4 times the amount…

For written communication – it and research will be the first things off my list and if I am running out of time they will be the only things off my list… well aside from randomly selecting answers 😉

Tesing center is only 2 miles away! NTS is in the glovebox along with the passport. Thanks for the reminder though!!! Good luck everyone!

Thanks guys for your posts. CPA journey that's a great strategy. I normally write up my draft first so I know something will be graded there then go to the other parts in the sims and come back to it later for revision, because as you said WC could be a tipping point in the CPA exams. I left most of the tabs on the 2nd sim in REG blank and still passed with 88. Thought I failed for sure. Hopefully I don't have to BS too much. Don't forget to spell check and split screens. Like most of us I too had enough of this CPA ****. I really want to make it the last exam. We can do this! Don't get frustrated; come back to a question later if you get stuck if time permits. If you clearly don't know a question, just take your best educated guess and move on. This test is not just about what you know it's going to be a time battle.

I agree FARSUXCPA – if I really don't know the answer I am going to guess B and move on. I am giving myself 45 – 50 minutes per testlet and then the remainder for the SIMS…it is going to be the longest 4 hours of my life. I guess I should keep reviewing now! I wanna at least review the material a few times. I can guarantee some of the MCQs will be confusing and tricky and ONE extra item will get thrown into the question and then I will get confused! That was my problem on BEC anyway =/

Another tactic: read the question first before reading the facts. Watch the dates.

I have doubts now for choosing A as the answer because answer A was a bait/lure in some of the Becker questions.

Does anybody share the same sentiment?

I am being hopeful for FAR right now but this is my current brain state:

Forgot to make a left turn into Starbucks to get some coffee. Had to u-turn.

Came to Border's to study. The lady at work separated the black trash bin from the trash container. Threw out my unfinished iced tea into the bin not the container. The lady got mad!

hahaha @FARSUX…sounds like your day is going great so far lol. I have the same exact sentiments about choosing A because Cindy from Yaeger says that “it's ok to choose A…as long as it's the right answer!” ….so I would NEVER guess A if I didn't know the answer. I remember on my BEC exam choosing A (which honestly didn't happen too often) and making SURE that A was the right answer haha
