It's funny though because he will never fully understand what I am going through…only people who are actually taking the exams – like you guys. This site and everybody on it has made it so much more tolerable and I don't feel so alone. Because without a doubt..the CPA exam is an extremely lonely road…even if you have tons of support from family and friends..they are outsiders looking in.

That is true. I have found the exam to be an all-consuming process. Even if I am not studying, I am thinking about studying. Or if I decide to do something fun, most of the time I am thinking about how I should be studying.

One thing I have found myself pondering how this compares to the bar exam, or actuarial exams. From what I've been told, the actuarial exams are BRUTAL.

Also, I have the utmost respect for the people who do this while working full time with a spouse and children. I don't know if I could do it.

    REG: 5/26 - 90hrs (Pass) AUD: 7/1 - 86hrs (Pass)
    BEC: 7/22 - 72hrs (Pass) FAR: 8/31 - 56hrs (Wait)

Yeah I hear you…I wouldn't WANT to do the exam with a husband and children. I am glad I am getting this outta the way now while I am still young (I am 25). Having a boyfriend and doing this is hard enough! I have heard that the CPA exam is harder than the bar exam..but not sure how true that is. I can't wait to be done because studying and the exam is all I think about…even when I am not studying! It is really depressing lol

I just honestly cannot wait until September when we know scores are about to be released and imagine if we all passed?! That would be so awesome. These 3 – 4 weeks can't come fast enough! Ya and I also don't like how I live by testing windows haha. I hate rushing time! With the exam though…that is the way it is!

Yes the material bwtween f8 & the first part of F9 is pretty much the same.

Sorry I was working on the Final Review only finished the first topic. But I did ok on the MCQ. Wish I had another 10 days to study.

Looks like we are all running out of hours – normal for any exam.

cpa journey F8 has this weird portion that has a balance sheet with these gazillion weird questions I touched a few of those and had to move on to F9… I really don't think those would appear as MCQ's to long may in a sim

it is possible to get a sim over govt and NFP but unlikely from what I heard. Becker just recently changed their comment abput govt and NFP – they are now possible sims

I hope I don't get one – we will see

with the amount of time Becker spends going over the simple JEs I think it would be more likely to be asked to record the initial and maybe closing entries.

    We will see

financeguy, liquidity Ratio's ,Activity Ratio's, Profitability Ratios, Long term debt paying ability ratio's I have a whole 4 pages of formulas I have to memorize in the becker study material. Its like about 20 of them dude I wouldn't call that a few.

20 for FAR? Wow, I had the current ratio, liquid ratio, AR turnover and that is about it. I knew the stock one…I forget what it is called…earnings per share and diluted earnings per share.

I already had memorized a ton from BEC and they really just stuck w/ me. However I didn't write down a single thing on my scratch paper as far as memorized formulas go. If you can memorize them easily then it wouldn't hurt, however I would hold too much weight in memorizing 20 ratios for this exam.

    AUD - 81, BEC - 74, 80, FAR - 82, REG - 81
    Done!
