Hi everyone! I’m currently finishing up my last semester of college and have been trying to study/take the FAR exam. I started studying for FAR mid-October and so far have 5 of the 10 sections in my Becker FAR book completed.

If everything had gone how I planned, I would have taken the exam already, but taking 18 credits and studying has been difficult and overwhelming. I’m currently working on pensions and lease accounting and I feel like I’m to the point of just wanting to get it done so I don’t have past due Becker homework. I know I’m not doing myself any good, but there’s so much going on currently that it’s hard not to.

Is it realistic to try to take the first section in January during my first month of work, or do I wait until after busy season? I did not realize that December is a black out month.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m becoming very discouraged and do not know what to do anymore.
