I’m planning on sitting for FAR on December 6. As of right now, I’m reading through the Becker book and taking notes (Section 7) and will be done within the next week. I should have about three weeks to do MCQs and mock exams – will this be enough time to review? Does anyone have tips on what else I should be doing in the last few weeks to better prepare? Thank you!

Just passed REG and BEC in 3rd q, studying for FAR right now as well, taking it Nov 20th. Never underestimate MCQs, run through those non stop. Its easy to just listen to the lectures but the MCQs and Sims make you practice the concepts over and over how you will see it on the test. Always better to do the problems yourself and work through them, even the day before REG I was seeing new things I never saw before by going through problems. Basically, you'll be prepared the more questions you can do. Also, mock exams, I never did any. I think it was Jeff made a good point, you want to get an instant reponse to your answer and you don't get that with the mock exams. They're good to see where you stand, but deff spend more time doing problems.

Assuming you did a thorough initial pass through of the materials, 3 weeks is more than enough time to review. Two weeks is the threshold for a good review phase IMO. More time just means you can be more thorough.
