Just the test bank- it came with a book because you know I need another FAR book- ha ha ha… I am quite honestly baffled at my fail- I felt really prepared and felt like the MCQ's went well for me and the SIMs weren't awful. I ran out of time so I am guessing I didn't get lucky and have one of those two sims I filled as pre-test- but even then it doesn't explain such a low score…. sigh. Plan is to double up on SIMS this go round, work on my time and focus on doing a journal entry for every single question that has numbers in it… I just need to see new questions at this point- have rogers completely memorized and probably most of Ninjas as well at this point.

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade

Eww, did they send you the physical book? They have the pdfs if you get the full course. Side note, its good to work those MCQs in the book (30 per chapter) since you can make notes/ do calcs and the sims are different in the book (I think).

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

yeah they said they were going to send me physical books- ha ha ha — will add them to my Wiley and Roger collection… man I am going to have a big effing bonfire when this s-t is done! ha ha ha…

But no I completely agree with you as sarcastic as I am being… I actually like having the physical books so I can take handwritten notes as I go along.

After failing FAR with an 72 back in October I guess I'm back. 🙁

I will be re-reading the entire becker FAR book at least 3 times before my exam late Jan early Feb. Last exam and taking no chances.

@mckan514w Yes sir I will be here more often now since s**t is getting serious. I'll lose my BEC credit at the end of May, and I do not plan on taking FAR with the new exam updates in April. So Q1 is truly my last sprint to the finish line.

@mtaylo24 I think I will watch all the videos of the Yeager cpa and do the recommended questions. The last time I only did 50% of the Wiley test bank. If I can go thru all of them this time around I can pass. My biggest challenge is to stay motivated. So probably I will schedule for FAR in the second week of Feb and Bec last week of the window. It has been really upsetting to have the BEC credit expired and same for auditing.

Since I've studied for FAR (got a 72) a few months ago a lot of information is still in my head but I am not leaving any stone unturned. Here is a detailed outline that was obtained from someone on this forum and scored in the 90's.

Week 1: Read the book from front to back and doing only the Becker questions in the book at the end of each chapter.

Week 2-3: Read the book again and take notes (not word for word from the book as I did in the past but stuff that truly stands out) then do Becker MCQ at the end of each chapter. Then attempt the SIMS at the end of each chapter as if it were the real test.

Week 4: Do all of Gleims MCQ (or as much as I can). Take Becker final #1

Week 5: Re-read my notes and do cumulative MCQs and do all Becker Sims again. Becker final #2

Depending where I'm at at the end of week 3 I might extend my studying an extra week just in case.

That is a great plan. I would like to do something similar but not sure if my schedule would allow. Do you work full time?

Yes I do work full time and I have a wife and child. So I am trying to finish these exams to catch up on all the time I am missing from them.

My first post to Ninja!! In response to your question on allowance for discounts – the only amount of allowance for discounts reported at year end would be 0-15 days ($1000) because all other accounts (customers) over 15 days would no longer be eligible to take the discount since they have exceeded 15 days in making payment.

Hope that is helpful!! 🙂 #happysaturdaystudying
