Even though I just passed Reg I still don't feel great. How the hell am I suppose to pass FAR. I'm scoring 55-60% on MCQs and find some of the calculations so tedious and exhausting. I can't get through more than 30-50 mcqs in 2 hours because I write everything out to make sure I fully grasp it. Although I did take a 30 question progress test on Becker F1-F4 where I was honestly taking educated guesses and thought I was going to get 40%, but got a 70%!

I was there 4 weeks ago, trending in the 55-60 range and overwhelmed. I focused on new MCQs first then missed last time until I got all of them answered correctly…. painful as I have over 110 hours on just MCQs alone but I am trending over 95% on review and feel like I know enough of the material to pass… .dont waste too much time on ones you dont know, guess then read the explanation, you will see the question again in some form… hope that helps, you will start to make connections in time….

Good lord! I'm 130 hrs in on Ninja and still have over 400 not answered correctly. This section is such a struggle!

Mataylo- make sure u do custom sets of questions u got wrong previously and troubled questions by now there are questions u will never miss. U don't want to waste any time in those.

Yeah that's my strategy. I did all of the new questions, now I'm doing “missed last time seen” questions until I hit review phase. Then I'll switch to adaptive once I hit review.

I only spent 136 altogether with REG and it had 200+ more questions. FAR is just a beast!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well @mckan. I'm going through the Gleim test bank and answering every single question. Currently I'm on module 8. Here's hoping I finish on Friday so Saturday and Sunday can be used to further review trouble areas.

I swear I have met so much resistance this past year. People don't like it when you pass these exams. Its cool all its done is fuel my fire. I recently resigned working under a CPA who it was obvious didn't want me to succeed(Wonder why?). He took over after the original owner died and he basically was running it to the ground to the point where he couldn't even pay me for a full 8 hours of work because he wasn't holding up his end of the work. Yea he was one of those people. He actually put more work on me after I passed my first one and then I realized he didn't have a vested interest in my success. Then he realized anything he could possibly do to keep me from passing wasn't working.

Make sure you guys aren't just mindlessly doing mcq without thinking the questions over carefully. Don't rush them, figure out exactly what the concept is first. You just memorize them if you don't and it won't help at all.

@emichelle I spent most of the day yesterday with govt. and am feeling like an absolute IDIOT because I just can't seem to “get it”… ugh

GOOD LUCK to everyone testing this weekend and first of the week!!! I'm kind of like @Teal my date is rapidly approaching and I am no where near ready but will have to slog on through because I really want another shot at it prior to April.

Ive had enough, I'm going to Chili's 🌶! Its taking me forever to get through my questions not answered correctly, I still have 250 left, so that will easily multiply to 1000 💩.
