Future NinjaParticipant@OnMyWay732 I have a feeling you really know the material and you know exactly how to do it. unlike me I was guessing and when I ran out of time, I entered ” 0″ zero. disappointed but it's done. I've moved on already. I licked it up, put my things together and will go through the material from start after thanksgiving. Thanks to @Krina and @ Amor D. I might shop until I drop coming black Friday.

OnMyWay732Participant@Future haha…thanks for the pick-me-up. I did have a good grasp on the material but the questions that were asked were just in areas that there was one paragraph on one page. These worry me. In addition, my sims were a lot of educated guesses. I knew what I was doing but not sure if I did them exactly correct. My life feels hostage to these exams and it has;t even been that long. I just want to be done and enjoy life again

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

jakeeeeMemberCurrently freaking out because I got 67 / 53 / 67 on the first Becker practice exam. AHHH! I would cry if I could. LOL.
A stupid mistake I always make– not paying attention to the months for depreciation related questions. Or picking answers that are NOT “net of tax” when they should be.
Can't wait to be walking out of the testing center tomorrow D:

AnonymousInactiveOk, I'm constantly scoring 80% on Ninja MCQ testlets with ‘new questions' only.
All but one section trending in high 70s. Over a thousand questions answered.
Only 400 unseen.
Test on Friday.
Thoughts people?

jakeeeeMember@OnMyWay732 I'm sure you did great! Compared to the other tests, I feel like the information on this test is so much more overwhelming. After finally passing the other three, I finally figured out the way I had to study and how much time I had to really put in… and I've done that and more for FAR, but it's just a whole different beast. I feel like I should have gone through all the multiple choice questions in my review at least three or four times. Oh well, too late now!
@_Nick_ Sounds like you're in great shape! Definitely gonna get Ninja MCQ if I don't pass this time.

Determined CPAParticipantJust finished the 1st Becker exam. Avg about a 66 ugh! Attributing some of that to the fact that I worked all day and was exhausted before I even started it. Didn't have a lot of govt on it tho… I'm still messing up on what an enterprise vs internal service fund is. So much to do this week!!!

Determined CPAParticipantBacker, Inc. reporting the following:
8% cumulative preferred stock, par value $100 per share; 10,000 shares issued and outstanding (liquidation value $107) $1M
Common stock, par value $10 per share, 50,000 shares issued and outstanding 550,000
APIC 75,000
RE 450,000
Dividends are in arrears on the preferred stock for 3 years including the CY. what is the book value per share of common stock?
$14.30
1,000,000
500,000
75,000
450,000
________
2,025,000
Less preferred stock: liquidation value (10,000 * 107) <1,070,000>
Dividends in arrears (10,000 * $8 * 3 years) < 240,000>
Total value of common stock 715,000/
Divided by common shares outstanding 50,000 = 14.30
can someone please help me understand where the $8 comes from in the dividends in arrears part???

AnonymousInactive@Determined, $8 = .08 x $100 par value?
This is a crazy EPS question, man. Stressing yourself out.

zcpa32Member@Determined, I posted this question earlier. My issue was with the liquidating value, why are we using liquidating value to calculate the BV per share?
