How is everyone feeling a day after the exam? I couldn't help but go and look up a few of the answers to the questions on my test and it makes me feel better I got them right especially a topic they hit about 3 times in different testlets! The sims though I still can't wrap my head around how hey could even test on those. A lot of people say it's the luck of the draw on the test you get but I sure as hell wish I felt more comfortable on them. I'm going to take the weekend off from touching study material and do 50 MCQ's a day till score release to keep everything fresh! You just never know till you know it's a horrible But possibly rewarding feeling.

Oh man… I never go back to see what I missed and may have gotten right. That would be like pouring gas on the anxiety wildfire already raging in the forest of my mind. Waiting for a score release is bad enough. 🙂

This is my first day not worrying about studying in about year and a half. I have no clue what to do. I started looking at CMA materials, dusted off my ps4, I have a one hour update that I have to sit through since its been off so long.

As for the exam, one second I think its going to be a fail, the next I think its gonna be a pass. I have no clue what to think. I'm praying that my franchise sim was a pre-test, because I know I butchered that one, and the pension one.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

I didn't know what to do with myself last night so I went to bed at 9:30!!!
I am going to wait with an attitude that I passed and I am DONE! There is no point to dwell over it now.

And if I have to retake it then I know I am going to nail it that time around since I know exactly what I knew and what I didn't know. Honestly, I thought REG was my favorite, I take it back. I think FAR is, just because it's so relevant to my actual profession. I want to do well on this one.

    AUD 7/6/16 Passed
    BEC 9/3/16
    FAR TBD
    REG TBD

^^^I hear you! Despite getting my A$$ kicked two (or three) times in this section, I am feeling more accomplished as an Accounting professional because of the stuff that I have learned with this one. Reg was interesting, but I know I would never apply that stuff on the job, plus there is a little bit of FAR in each section. If I could change my order, it would definitely have been FAR, AUD, REG, BEC. This journey would not have been this much of a struggle.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

Mtaylo, I took AUD, BEC, REG, FAR and I think I would keep it in this order. There were so many overlapping topocs by the time I got to FAR that I didn't have to drill in on some of the sections so that kind of helped to dilute the amount of material that I needed to study for FAR.

    AUD 7/6/16 Passed
    BEC 9/3/16
    FAR TBD
    REG TBD

I hear you Namstut. I think FAR helps with other sections more than the other sections help with FAR. I don't think I would have struggled with Auditing or even Reg the way I did if I had taken FAR first. My Reg score even blew up to a 74 after the first time I sat for FAR.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

@mecrushya PERFECTLY said! ha ha ha ha- the one and only time I went back and checked on something was with BEC- and that was to make sure I wasn't losing my mind that it was an esoteric question that wasn't really covered in the material- the question actually STILL bothers me- and I still don't know how to solve it- even though I am convinced it was probably pre-test….. I am actually just at loose ends.. I don't know what to do or even what to think- all though I am thinking the worst it is kind of nice to not be studying…. I will probably start back with some MCQ's mid-week though… just so I can keep up in case I have to re-sit….

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

I saw more Mr. International scenarios than Mr. USA's on my FAR test yesterday.

I noticed that most of the contributors of this thread have FAR as their last section, myself included. FAR was the first section I ever took, I scored a 62, and then moved to AUD. I ended up passing AUD first and moved back to FAR a year later. I passed FAR and AUD with a little difficulty but when I moved to REG and BEC, that was hell! I was misled to believe that I got the first two (most difficult) sections out of the way and the other two left would be a little easier. I was dead wrong! One of the most painful feelings I’ve ever felt is losing my two precious credits. And it got even more painful to study each expired/repeated section every single day. The only consolation I had was I got an easier test last quarter and so I passed AUD again.

I hope I passed FAR yesterday so I don’t have to deal with the new CPA format and the torture of waiting for 10 weeks for the result next quarter.

@AmorD I am with you, I hope this is it for me as well. My CPA exam journey hasn’t been too bad besides how long it takes to study for a section. When I made the move from public to private it was one of the best moves ever. It has allowed me study more with not worrying about deadlines and such as much while working a steady work week and no weekends. We will be done this quarter, fingers crossed for successful exam results on the 21st.

Mother Nature actually is somewhat kind. She waited until last night to drop a neighbor's tree in my back yard, and only took out the fence, spared my 5-year-old rubber roof and the new windows I just had installed last summer. Got some exercise clearing the brush/smaller branches, now I'm getting my chainsaw ready to start on the ones too big for hand-held trimmers. I said I wanted to do some yard work once the exam was over, but I was hoping to wait until temperatures were above freezing!

LOL meanwhile I am cursing mother nature- told my husband that it was completely unfair that we had such beautiful weather in Jan and Feb when I was stuck inside all of the freaking time studying and NOW- NOW that I am done and waiting Mother Nature decides to dump between 5-18 inches of snow on us and make me housebound…. grrrrrrr.
