@Aguspesci78 Idecided to hold off on BEC and focus on AUD instead. Planning to take AUD beginning of April and then BEC end of May. Depending on how FAR goes I may be planning a retake instead… Hoping that's not the case. How was your test?!

@ pyacpa49, I have to say that I feel better than last time and the SIMS were not as bad as there were on my first test. Looking back at how I did on my first exam and got a 74 I am feeling a bit positive about this one but you never know with this exams! I just hope I am done for good!

how is everyone studying the JEs? Memorization? There are so many! Some are easier than others but I feel like if you know where the account shows up (B/S or I/S), and some basic rules about the type of transaction then you kinda work through it>

@Aguspesci78 Let's hope for passing grades all around at the end of february. Glad to hear it wasn't too bad. This waiting is going to kill me. Guess I'll just focus on AUD until the grades come out.. Good luck to you. You'll have to come back to let me know how it went.

Yes, long time no talk. I can't really spare my focus to check out REG study group while I am struggling with THE beast. I have the FAR exam scheduled on Feb 17 and I am going to defer it further toward the end of Feb. The amount of material is just crazy and out of control ! I don't really have good method in remember JE. just keep doing MCQ until it's in my blood lol

Passed 86!! FYI I know I completely bombed a SIM and I was never sure I got the right answer in both research SIM (had 15 min to find both)

What helped me: 1) Drawing T accounts specially when I could not picture the flow of the entries. 2) JE and trying to understand the concepts behind them 3) Trying to at LEAST know something about everything. I know there is a lot of material but you just never know what are they gonna throw at you, specially on SIMs. 4) Do not neglect GOV l, and their F.S. 5)Doing MCQs!!! I know they take forever but it helped me to practice a lot of them. I got accustomed to them and I think that helped me in time management. I know it can feel imposible but the mcqs are not all calculations and very lengthy like the review software sometimes give us so do not panic.

Took FAR on Tuesday. I can never tell if questions are getting harder or not. I feel like I had a good mix of some hard and some not as hard. The sims were brutally hard. I feel about the same on the other ones I've passed so hopefully that is a good sign. Hope everyone else has good luck taking it. I'm nervously waiting for the next 3 weeks and hopefully never have to study for these exams ever again.

@marqzho – Far has a lot of material but for me it makes more sense than Reg. well, i'm only into Part 9 with Roger so i'm only 1/3 of the way in. from what i hear, consolidations and JEs are the toughest parts of Far…what do you think?
