    I just finished watching all the lectures in FAR…..Holy Crap! that's a LOT!!!!!!!

    Yes, marqzho, too much information! I did a lecture and the MCQ, one chapter a day. I totally fried my brain!

    No … 12:30 PST … I am headed out the door. The testing center is about 30 minutes away, but I like to get there early to eliminate any chance of being late for my appointment … it is hard to gauge bay area traffic!

    Just took FAR today…. and i want a refund from Becker XD lol 3 months of my life dedicated to this exam and i blew the SIMs really bad. Becker SIMs were a cake walk compared to the test. I guess the AICPA want the same pass rates as last quarter! lol *tries not to cry…. crys a lot* 🙁

    @ GuitarMan2016, I completely understand how you feel. I felt the same way last November when I took FAR. The SIMS on Becker are a piece of cake compare to the exam! I left almost in tears and I scored a 74! I am taking it back Feb 2nd!!

    I seriously am so upset right now! lol studied so hard for SIMs particularly cuz i heard they were hard. Becker didn't prepare me nearly well enough.

    @GuitarMan2016, I understand believe me!!! It is a horrible feeling. I cried a lot and felt miserable until I got my score! I cried again when I saw a 74, specially after how hard the sims were. The sims on the exam are very long and it takes a long time to understand what they are asking for and by the time you figured it out you lost 10 mints of your time. I had 1hour, 40 mints left for the sims and could not complete one at all! I got all 100s in the 2nd final Becker exam on the sims!!! Becker's sims are a joke really! I am using ninja sims right now! And there are some tricky ones!

    Please don't call Becker FAR sims a joke. I'm getting scared. They are difficult to me… 🙁

    Ok, I got done a couple hours ago…

    My first testlet went pretty good. I didn't feel like it was very hard and the material was stuff you get a lot of exposure to wit Becker. I think I did very well on it.
    The second testlet was very difficult. It was a combo of things I barely seen and the things I knew had crazy answer choices. I am pretty sure I did bad on that one.
    The third one seemed easy. Some of the questions were so easy it was almost laughable. I think I did well on this one also.

    The sims were not as brutal as I thought. 5 of the 7 were journal entries. I think I got he research question right. I believe that I got partial credit for most all the sims, not full, but I gleaned some points here and there.

    If I pass it will be right on the cusp. I was not prepared for those sims with all the journal entries. With a whole lotta luck I will get a 75, but right now I am sort of thinking I am going to take FAR a third time 🙁

    I wish i got all journal entries! I had ONE Sim with journal entries and it was only half of the question. The other SIMs were all crazy math calculations. 🙁

    Is goodwill only calculated when a controlling interest is established?

    @MaLoTu, it sounds a lot like my last FAR exam and may be you will pass! I got a 74 and did not complete one of the sims! I am praying for all of us!!!!
