@Iwannabeacpa2017 Agree! Just discovered this yesterday while reviewing SCF. Best way in my opinion to figure out cash amounts paid or received.

@Itoosallpass! I know right. I was doing it for cash flows and I didn't realized it would have worked for Cash to Accrual Eiter. HAHA I'm actually stoked!

Hello my fellow Ninjas! Took FAR this afternoon, and before I am 3 sheets to the wind-here is my impression. As with all of these-it seems easier and harder than anything I have seen in practice. Just random MCQ-collectively not hard but just WTF topics…overall I felt good about those and was done in about an hour. 2nd testlet had more calcs-I can never tell whether the difficulty goes up-it didn't get easier for sure. Now onto SIMS-nailed the research-but took me a while. 2nd SIM was just really from the moon-no way I got any of it correct. @Lentil and @ReckedRacing, based on your comments, I think I might have had the same SIMS. I had 3-4 DRS, I can't remember, but the thing that pissed me off the most, is that I had a fairly easy SIM, which was made impossible but the flipping through docs and scrolling, etc. An hour into it, I just said F it and plugged in a number I know is wrong but I literally couldn't take it any more. I am going to write to AICPA or whoever, they need to do something about this crap. They are making the logistics of completing these SIMS hard but not on merit, which is annoying! The rest of it wasn't easy but doable. I had 48 minutes left when i was done. Anyhow, no studying until the 19th and looking forward to my vacation Tuesday coming up!

Hi Ana-I am hopeful I passed, but as always it could go either way…I was originally going to take it in December but I am going on vacation so I had to squeeze it in before Thanksgiving-no need to stretch this torture out:) I had plenty of time to study. Have been at it since end of August.

@anyatver, what do you feel about Blueprint Analysis and SIM ?
It seems you felt MCQ much easier compared to Beckers.

I hate Tim Gearty with all my heart. In the NFP section he is unbearable.

I honestly had to stop going through lectures with him and just hope I can learn it on my own. I have no choice but to assume he is intentionally making things more difficult. Why does he continuously bring the Gov't fund accounting? I didn't think they were the same until he started drilling it into my head. I hope he steps on a lego.

Fellow Ninjas in training or (NitS), and Ninjas. What is the DISTINGUISHING difference between Reg S-K and Reg S-X. I've been trying to understand this for awhile now with little success. Each seems very similar to the other. One of the AICPA 2016 “difficult” released questions has you choose which one relates to the SEC filings and registration statements. Problem is from what I can tell they both do. Please let me know what you've found to be helpful in distinguishing between these to. Thanks!
