    @Ana. Thank you once again for lining up all the Becker Sims with the blueprints. I really hope that this helps us.

    I'm taking a Sabbath for the rest of the evening/night.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    no problem, I just hope people use it. I've seen the test three times and this blueprint is the closest thing I've seen that actually correlates to what the test sims are like. I took the afternoon and evening off too. It's my anniversary and I completely forgot until my husband gave me a card.
    Question @lentil, you really seem to be on your game with far. How would you rate your expertise/knowledge this time compared to your last three tries? I'm betting you're passing, but don't want to jinx it. I'm getting superstitious now, I've only told one person I've rescheduled for the 4th time.

    @Ana Happy Anniversary!

    I feel like I have a good grasp of the multiple choice but not the simulations yet. When I get through all the Becker simulations in the next 11-12 days, maybe I'll feel differently about the Sims.

    I know of one other person besides Ana and myself taking FAR in the next two weeks. Is there anyone else in this time frame too? Just wondering how you are reviewing in the last days.

    I'm working through Becker Final Review now. At this point I'm just trying to refresh everything (since I've been studying FAR for 2.5 months) and resolve some minor details on the things I'm pretty solid on so I don't lose easy points. Problem areas for me will get a more thorough review once I'm done what I'm doing now (probably later in the week and all next week). I still have another Mock Exam and the AICPA practice exam to do, plus more MCQ's and SIMS.

    @lentil wanted to know how you would rate your knowledge this time around vs the other 3 times. How much do you feel you've improved to get over the hump.

    @Ana. For the last 5 days in a row, I have done 66 random Ninja MCQ and timed myself. I finish in 1 to 1.15 hours usually and my average score has been a 92. With Wiley, my scores have been lower but in the 70 to 80 range.

    I think I've moved up from the 60s to the low 70s (actual CPA score scale) but that I'll need to ace Sims to pass this thing.

    thanks, I'm just wondering how people feel when they've failed numerous times and if they feel a vast improvement in knowledge before they pass. I'm nervous bc I feel better but not drastically. I don't want to get a 74.

    I think if you stay the same on the MCQ and these blueprints do the trick for the sims, a 75+ is in your future. How are your ninja scores doing? Or have you have evaluated your performance some other way?

    Hey!! I am retaking the FAR exam and hoping to sit for it sometime in December or early January. I have passed (REG, AUD, and BEC) so far. It's been a rough journey but I am pushing through for this one more left. Goodluck to Everyone who is studying.

    ninja scores are at 81%. feeling good about the sims, I mean I've done them at least three times. I owe you so much for getting that blueprint together for everyone. It's really silly that such a vague blueprint that covers everything in the book can provide comfort but it's so nice for once to have something to follow and check off. Otherwise it's a maze and feeling hopeless.

    @Ana

    I would feel pretty good about Ninja scores in the 80s if I were you. I've been using Ninja since like the end of last year for FAR. I got a 68 the first time with just MCQ. Then I went down to a 62 for the retake about a month later. Took like 6 months off to focus and came back to it with Becker+Ninja + new exam format and went up to a 64. I've saved my Ninja scores from previous attempts and they were in the low to mid 70s. I think that 10 point difference has to do with my test anxiety issues. While I'm sure my knowledge has increased, I've also memorized the format of Ninja questions too. I try to answer each question honestly, not just remembering the answer though. My long winded point is that you are new to Ninja and in the 80s so that is great.

    My wife is really to thank for the blueprints. She's a physican and the epitome of a book nerd. She has always been good at tests and studying. She took it upon herself to help me somehow after seeing me struggle and was appalled at the CPA exam pass rates. We watched the webinar together and she picked up on the AICPA presenter's emphasis on these blueprints and how he said anything, with a check box next to analysis could be tested at a simulation level.

    I'm trying to do the Sims at least once but I'm also writing it out on paper.

    @lentil loved your response. I swear wives makes everything better lol, my husband would be sweet enough to give me credit too. PLEASE PLEASE thank her for us. And good for you guys, a physician and soon to be CPA! You should be very very proud. Also, cracked me up that a physician is appalled at CPA testing.

    good idea to write sims out on paper. I'm too lazy for that : ( I think I'll run out of time too. For the next 12 days I'm just doing sets of 10-30 Becker or ninja questions, then 2-3 sims, back again to questions, back to sims, etc. and reviewing 3-4 pages of condensed notes of one chapter a day.

    @nellies how many months do you have left to finish? I still don't see the signatures so I can't see the info.

I mean its the last window but at the same time I really dont want to drag this exam on and on throughout the holidays and having some family stuff.. Just feeling mentally and physically drained, recently been thinking why the heck did i choose this field!!
