Hey guys I will be taking FAR on October 1st and I am using Becker. I also purchased the Scout package for FAR and was wondering if you guy had any recommendations on how to supplement Becker with the ninja scout package (MC, notes, flashcards).

Should I finish Becker FAR first and then do ninja or should I do use both at the same time? For example, complete one Unit of Becker and then do the related material in ninja. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Hi guys, I took FAR in April for the first time and I failed with a 66 🙁 I was using Roger and got Ninja with about 3 weeks to review. I would like to think that me not going through all of the ninja MCQ's had something to do…So this time I'm going to use Roger again and just bought the Sniper package. I just seem to get confused on listening to different things in a week. Has any of you used these 2 for a retake? And how did you organize it? My thinking is I should go through Roger again and once done review Ninja materials while using Ninja mcq's throughout…

Took FAR this week, I used Wiley as my review course, and didn't have any questions that supposedly “highly tested”. So I assume it's like rolling the dice, never know what you get. They recommend to leave 2 hours for mcqs, but there is no way one can finish SIMs in two hours, there are too many documents to read, I felt rushed, and didn't finish last SIM. Taking this week off from studying and coming right back to it, don't think I passed.

I use Gleim. Just finished the units study a few days ago. Now doing MCQs practice. I feel so depressed after taking practice. Feel it's difficult to retain the knowledge.

I am just wondering where you guys get the SIM questions from Gleim.
Did you buy the whole package just for SIM? I looked up online and could not find a product for SIM questions only.

No single SIMs for sale. Either buy its test bank or whole review system which includes test bank.
The test bank is on sale right now.

With lots of Gleim SIM practice, I feel good with SIMs.

@Ne'o I'm sorry, that's horrible. Definitely hard to deal with leading up to this beast. My exam is on Monday, and I'm going stir crazy. Basically have been dreaming about inventory and nonmonetary transactions.. i mean literally. I hope this goes smoothly for you.. what are you planning on doing the last few days for FAR? How much time are you putting in daily?

I've gone through the material twice and just am doing as many practice questions I can. Took one mock exam yesterday, got a 72. This morning, took a progress test and got a 68. So not doing great… don't know what else to do really. Planning on taking the second mock test tmw.

if anybody has any suggestions, it would be great… i'm ridiculously anxious and not really sure what else i can do at this point to really somehow get a a 75.

Does anyone know how heavily tested the ratios are? Should we know all of them or is a basic understanding of the simpler ones enough for FAR?

@turbo… Nooooo I'm not. I really wished I ever stopped studying. It's now seems like sooooooo much information. And study tips? I am focusing on sims and flash cards.

I am taking FAR for the third time September 10. I did okay the first time and bombed the second time so I am hoping this third time will bring it all together. Although I know the material the volume of everything is driving me insane when I am doing the MCQ on ninja I know the answers but I am getting mixed up and getting silly questions wrong. Hopefully these next two weeks I can just bring it all together and get that 75.

Does anyone have suggestions on what you would do within the last two weeks. Just trying to use my time wisely and pass this thing.
