    tip: don't get stressed out because of your low mock exam score or average score on ninja mcq. My scores weren't good at all, but i learned and understood the mcqs that i had incorrect, and passed fare. I only studied with becker and ninja mcqs.

    GOODD LUCKK!!

    Concentrating on sims as well as mcq's. Going over some sims to make sure I am familiar with breaking down the questions and reviewing the documents as well. This cpa process may be difficult, but I have learned a lot about taking the time to study and not just rushing through only to build up anxiety. I know , I know, there are moments where the temptation is to just throw the computer, books, and etc across the room but those moments pass after a few deep breaths. Hopefully strategic study it will pay off this time. Keep going guys, we'll get there.

    Congrats to those that passed 🙂

    It begins with a 75
    Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

    @Sally – I'm shooting for my retake the first week in Sept as well. IDK how possible it is. I started studying again yesterday, the only bright side is I seem to have remembered quite a bit of stuff so far.

    Are you increasing your study time?

    Maybe I won't be taking it early September. I checked prometric and the latest appointment they have is on the 28th. Yesterday they had some appointments available on the 8th. I guess they filled up while I was waiting for my NTS:(

    @krstnam I actually was able to squeeze in on september 8th..you might be able to get in if someone drops, which they probably will..

    I am definitely going to be cramming as I only started studying on Monday. How did you review 2 weeks prior to your 2nd try?

    @wannafree…..there's an option in prometric website where you don't need to have NTS to check availability. Click on “seat available tool”.

    @sally, my 2nd try I believe I was hammering out bonds, NCI and memorizing ratios. I got a 71 this last time. It was hectic. I wasn't able to stay calm and resilient. The testing center location changed and I did not think to check the address so I was rushing to the new center. I found out they have a 30 min grace period. I got there 28 min late and when I checked in, the time was 32 min late. I went through the first hour of the exam trying to get my heart rate down and the last hours worried that it would get thrown out anyway. I just couldn't calm myself down and prob made stupid mistakes.

    @mtaylo, I was wondering if you made it this last time too. I think we will get it this next round…I feel sort of refreshed after the summer break. Opening my books wasn't as brutal this time around.

    @kristnam Ah man I'm sorry to hear that, you'll kill it this time! I would try to take it the first week of september if you can.

    Quick question for everyone, for some reason I am confused at how overdraft accounts work. For example, in Becker Chapter 3, the overdraft account is netted with the positive balance account to reach a net balance. However, in another MCQ the overdraft account is listed as a liability and NOT netted with the balance in the other account. Can anyone explain this?

    Thank you!

    I just paid he exam fee. Hoping to get my nts by Monday. Based on my score report I think the fact that I didn't the finish the sims is what messed me up and gave me the 72. I have to work work faster.

    Hi all,

    I am appearing for FAR in q3. Any suggestions to improve simulations are welcomed. Asking because couldn't clear in past attempts because of weaker in simulations. Have been using becker but did not help in simulations.

    @SallyCPA

    I remember those bank account/overdraft questions. The reason why the overdraft was netted against the other bank account in one multiple choice question was because both accounts were of the same bank. In the other multiple choice question, the overdraft was shown as a liability most likely because the other bank account(s) were in a different bank.

    Unfortunately, I cannot quote the specific text or rules but I'm pretty sure.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    @Lentilcounter Thank you!! Thats exactly what I was looking for. Becker usually does a great job of explaining it but they weren't too thorough in their explanation on that example.

    Anyone use the Ninja Audio for FAR and feel like it helped? I just scheduled my FAR exam for Sept 7th, but will have to travel about 4 hours to the city I'll be testing in (since I scheduled late). I should be able to listen to Ninja Audio for FAR at least 4 times (work commute, exam commute, daily walk) before taking the exam. I probably won't be able to use anything else in the Sniper package (MCQs, Notes, Flashcards, Audio, Book, Ninja Plus), besides audio, since I'm still finishing up with Becker material. Should I spend the $195 for just the audio? Wish I could split it up and use the rest for REG, but no dice. Thanks in advance!
