I'm a little panicky…I'm finishing up F10 MCQ's today and should be done in the next 3 hours or so. I have from now till my exam next wed to study full time since I am off from work until next thursday. I should be able to start “final” review by this evening, that only gives my 5 full days for full review. I haven't been able to review prior chapters while trying to get through the remaining chapters working with the time frame I had remaining. I spent a lot of time writing out notes for the first 8.5 chapters and decided to just read and attack the MCQ's for the last 1.5 taking notes as I got them wrong to save time. I just don't know if 5 days will be enough to figure out where I'm weak and to work on those weaknesses by exam day. This section is massive. I'm just really trying to hold on to hope at this point…

    AUD - 90 Pass

@so1913, I have been studying for a long time but starting to forget the info. I think it'll come down to us just giving it all we got and cramming as much in as possible toward the end for the best results. Goodluck!

    Anyone else feel this way?

You're going along in a calculation-heavy set of MCQs, just getting killed because you dont understand any of it, and you see an all-words question (no numbers, no calculations!) And think ahh yes, finnaly one I have a chance of getting right!

    ?

    I suck at FAR

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

@so1913 Random, but are you a Delta???

I don't know if it was just my test or not… but when I took it at the beginning of this month, I didn't have any long wordy questions outside of the simulations.

I always feel prepared with Becker, but then the exam always seems so different.

@newuseracc: I'm using Becker self-study, so for review I typically just reread each chapter, rework all of the questions for that chapter after I read it, and mix in some short progress tests as I go along to keep the older stuff fresh. I hope to be through all of the chapters for the second time by next Monday, at which point I'll do the 2 final exams and then use the remainder of my time to focus in on my weak areas. That's what I did for REG and it seemed to work (although, I knew going into REG that it was my best shot at a high score due to subject matter/prior knowledge, so I'm certainly not expecting a 98 on FAR). One advantage of only allocating a month to study for FAR is that it doesn't leave much time to forget the early material, so it makes the bit of added time pressure somewhat worth it. That about sums it up, best of luck to you!

Just got a 73-73-60 on my second practice exam with Becker. Cracking a couple beers and relaxing until the exam tomorrow. Feel that anymore studying will be counter productive. Got to have some confidence!

FAR - Passed! 8/23/13 (Becker Self Study and Ninja Audio)
REG - Passed! 7/24/13 (Becker Self Study and Ninja Audio)
AUD - Passed! 8/25/14 (Becker Self Study and Ninja Audio)
BEC - Passed! 11/23/14(Becker Self Study and Ninja Audio)

    Now Gimme my Bonus!!!

    Question:

For stock option using the Intrinsic value does the company recognize the compensation expense at end of each reporting period or only the the date the option exercised?

    Thanks.

NOTES RECEIVABLE – will be one of many reasons I fail FAR, heres a easy question from F4 that confuses me a little:

    View post on imgur.com

so the becker book only deals with N/R for 1.5 pages(at least in F4) and in there example with discounting a Note; it is a short term note with no annual payments, unlike this problem. (pg. 19)

Can someone explain this one a little clearer?

So “King Co.” is equivalent to the bank in the example in the book? Discount note = 19,490…is that how much King paid Ace for the note? The example in the book it looks like the corporation that takes the note to the bank to get a discount still comes away with interest income but in this example is it fair to say Ace actually loss money? The loss being 19490-20000=(510)

That was weird I got some message saying I was banned from the forums for a day because of spamming in the score release forum. I have not even been in the score release forum for over 3 months.
