I'm still only on chapter 2 after I took Reg 5/25. Really not looking forward to the HW for chapter 2 around 300 questions including supplemental.

Quick question you guys…I'm thinking I will take the exam July 8th ( I haven't scheduled it yet).

Now, I am still in the “N/I” phases of the NINJA study plan. I figure I will finish these two phases by the end of this upcoming weekend.

Then I'll take a week to do MCQs using Jeff's suggested method, which is to complete mulitples of 20 MCQs in the same section until you reach xx% and I'm saying 80% and then move on the next section, etc, etc. (IS A WEEK ENOUGH TIME?)

Then a week to re-write the notes

And a week of reviewing difficult sections and what not.

    What do you guys think???

Do you feel comfortable with the material and not rushed?

How many times have you been through the homework for each chapter?

I haven't been through the homework at all as of yet…because the NINJA method calls for MCQs calls for doing the Mcqs AFTER having watched all the videos and taken notes.

I personally wouldn't risk it… i went through chapter one homework and it took me some time to go through. It was simple, but still wasn't quick. So I can't imagine how much time the other chapters would take. If I was you I would leave myself enough time to go through the homework at least 2 times.

Me personally, in order to fill confident, i have to go through it 3-4 times. This is possibly your last test! Best not to rush it… and as long as you take it before the 20th, you will have your score early August.

Ok maybe you're right…The latest I can take it (based on my schedule and such) is July 15th. So I guess I'll schedule it for that date.

Thanks for the advice TaRenee!! I'll be rooting for you for your BEC score release!

…and we CAN do ALL things through Christ that strengthens us!!! You got this!!

CPA4birthdaypresent – Since this is your last section I would take advantage of as much time as you can if it doesn't throw you off track to make sure this is it, especially since the two dates you are looking at (7/8 and 7/15) fall within the 1st wave of scores…why not take that extra week to reinforce everything (plus cut your wait time for getting your score by a week!:)

    AUD - 90 Pass
REG - 70,61,81 Pass DONE DONE DOOOOONNEEE!!!!!!!!

I am planning on starting Becker Self Study next week studying for FAR. I've been using the Bisk book & MCs & I've gotten through 4 out of 20 chapters but I feel like I need more direction with the Becker lectures & study tips. I want to take FAR sometime in August. I'm working full time & studying about 20 hours per week. Is this doable? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

    FAR: 70, 79!
    AUD: 76!
    REG: Jan 27th
    BEC: TBD

The first homework in F2 is absolutely brutal. The sad part is that I went over this stuff ad nauseum in undergrad

@mypetmeatball I definitely had some problems with the homework for F2. I think I had three days scheduled for it and took 4-5. Take heart! I was upset too from being stumped so soon but for me in F3 I made up a lot of that lost time. For those in F4, did anyone else die laughing when Peter said to stab yourself if you missed a straight line depreciation question?

I also am waiting on hear my BEC score, since it was my first test I really have no idea how it went. I'll be pretty distracted on that day, hoping work can keep my mind off of it. Do you all that have jobs find out your score at work or wait until you get home? I want to find out as soon as it's up, of course, but I also don't want to have to leave the office in tears if it goes badly. Or at the very least have my work suffer.

    BEC - 83
    FAR - 83
    REG - 74, 78
    AUD - 76

@icanhazcpa I was able to view my score at 4 AM in Texas. I received an automated e-mail later that day letting me know it was posted. Definitely made my day!
