    For those of you who took FAR in 2013/2014 would you agree that the MCQ are about 90% math calculations and 10% theory/informational? Im praying for more theory/informational. im doing horrible at the word problems with math

    @CPAmommyof3 may I have your JE's? 🙂

    FAR - 62 , End of aug 2015
    BEC - 67, 67
    AUD - TBD
    REG - TBD

    I took far last quarter and it was 80% theory

    Which basically killed me because i was more prepared for computational questions 🙁

    Anyways.. I just finished taking notes for f7 and ready to do mcqs. Last time i took far, f7 was my weakest area and i'm so scare to do this! I remember how f7 made me all discouraged and depressed.

    For those of you who's taking far end of Feb. How far are you? I'm planing to finish my first review by 2/9 and final review for 18days. So far f1-f6 i'm doing 67-83% avg. 76% with becker. I spent about 150 hours so far(january only). I have about 175 pages of notes not including whatever i was doing for the previous attempts. This time, i do simulations for every chapters and i'm reading the entire becker book and summarizing/writing notes… not too focused only on the mcqs because that's what i did last time, i didnt read/write book and only did mcq everyday with wileybook(got 80%-90%). And my exam had to be 80% conceptual questions! I read it somewhere in this forum said that this exam make u become humble. lol and yeah it really did. I thought i could pass this exam if i master all the mcqs. Well now i know that it takes way more than that!

    Arrrgh gotta do mcq for f7 now…
