@tootsie i will agree with you. videos do help retain more info esp if your notes are detailed but everyone works differently so let's see how no video goes for @mommy

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm going to skip the videos for now and focus on the book and taking notes. Then once I start on the MCQs in a week or two I may reconsider watching a video or two if needed. I really do think I only watched them before because I thought that was what I was supposed to do since it was my first set of exams. I've taken three now and I just don't think the videos did much for my retention before. I appreciate all of the comments.

Hello! I'm studying for FAR as well and currently having a really hard time! I'm 0-5 on the CPA exams and this will be my first go at FAR. This is tough stuff, especially since I work mostly in tax. It's a stressful time at work and I just can't seem to keep up with FAR. I'm studying with Becker and currently on a tight schedule for online classes (which is pretty much BS) so these feelings are overwhelming. Between my failures and all the other day to day stresses I'm having a hard time staying motivated. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I overcome?

I'll be starting to study for this section soon. I haven't taken this section since August 2012. Hopefully I'll be more prepared now that I've passed 2 sections.

    REG - 5/29/12 (64), 10/1/12 (74), 5/20/13 (75, expires 12/31/14)
    FAR - 8/14/12 (64), 8/5/14 (75)
    BEC - 11/19/12 (70), 2/25/13 (72), 11/21/13 (73), 1/21/14 (73), 8/30/14 (72), 11/24/14 (75)
    AUD - 4/22/13 (65), 10/12/13 (79)

    I'm done!!!

Officially scheduled for Feb 27. Five weeks from today. Not feeling good about it! The only thing is that if I don't pass, I can take it again mid April (I will never take an exam on the first week of the new quarter again, the 5 week wait for your score is DREADFUL) so I'll either be done by early March or early May.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

Wiley questions are much trickier then becker. Anyone have any suggestions on how to tackle them other than just read them over a ton of times? I do have to say that I them better than Becker eventhough they're harder.

I took a peek at the FAR questions in WTB (planning to start them on 2/1), let's just say they scared me into a higher level of study mode, lol

    Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!
