AnonymousInactive@ KNMCPA We are in the same boat. I'll be taking my exam in Feb and Some days I feel like I can do it and others not so much. I'm trying to stay positive and think of how wonderful my life will be after I complete this challenge. Best of luck to everyone!

KRinaMemberI need help, I am taking FAR middle of Feb and not sure exactly what to do at this point. It is a retake and my studying technique seems not to be working. between two kids, a manager at a big four busy season, I get home so exhausted. Any technique will be very helpful.
My plan now is too read the chapters from becker I am in chapter 5 already, do just simulations for each section instead of doing homeworks, and I do about 50 multiple choice and 3 sims a day cummulative of each chapter. I am supplement my becker with wiley test bank and ninja notes. ninja notes each morning for 1.5 hours before i drop off kids and head to work.
With Ninja notes and wiley, i did improve my Reg score by 20 points. So I am a believer of ninja notes
Any advice is very helpful please. This is my last section.

LizzersMemberHi everyone,
I am taking FAR on February 14th, and I started studying this past Monday.
I took it once failed with a 64. I studied my butt off- or so I thought. I did so many WTB questions, listened to the Becker materials, re-wrote the Ninja notes, listened to the audio, etc. Honestly, I was so tired from working overtime that in retrospect I really don't think I gave myself enough time to prepare.
If I don't pass FAR this time I will lose my Reg credit, so there's a lot of pressure. And our busy season is ramping up. I know I'm going to be exhausted, but I have to push through it and conquer this test.
Good luck to everyone studying!
REG- 84 - PASS!
BEC- 65, 72, 78! PASS!
AUD- 80 - PASS!
FAR- 64- What??, 82 - PASS!AND I'M DONE!! Just keep your eyes on the prize and remember that you can do it!

AnonymousInactive@CPAMommyof3 I'd for sure say it's do-able to fit it in, I'm trying to knock it out on 2/1 right now and I just took BEC on Saturday. I'm using CPAexcel, so if you have that I'm happy to give you my calendar, I'm doing 4 lessons a day for 3 weeks and that still gives me 4 review days which is way longer than my attention span allows, I always build in review days to my schedule and I've yet to actually get to use them…but they are there for my cushion. I'm also in busy season at big 4, but no kids 🙂 But if you stretch out the plan, I'd say it's still definitely doable by the end of February, I say give it a shot! Personally, I'd rather pay for the test twice and get to see it and cram some additional study time in than decide I don't have time to study and wait and then stress myself out knowing I have to pass both sections in one window in April/May…but if you look at it as a no lose situation other than a preview of the FAR exam if you fail and some extra study time…other than the money and you know time with your family (which hopefully they aren't expecting a lot of during busy season and CPA cramming times) you aren't really out anything…I say go for it!
