    HopefulCPA0601, what helped me the most the first time I passed FAR was doing flash cards. I used the ones Becker had plus I made about 40 extra for each chapter. The only problem is that is time consuming.

    hopeful and Adriana, you guys have the same scores on FAR. You study together? I have never seen that in here. Either you study together or you double personality.

    @CR7 – password got screwed up on my email and couldnt get it to work – so same haha. bec and reg scores were in the ballpark range bc i took those in 2011 and cant remember what the first scores were. Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to get to those flashcards – hopefully this will be my last time looking at far.

    I read the Wiley book, did questions on the test bank. Used cpareviewforfree as a supplement. I probably studied 2-3 hours day for a couple months.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
    AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

    @NYCaccountant I tried reading the Wiley Book and CPA Excel book/material online and my eyes start rolling into the back of my head…I need short concise material but with actual sentences not just flashcard info…I guess I have to just suck it up if I want to pass on the first try and just read the darn books

    I have my FAR CPA Excel books from 2011 that I bought at the beginning of 2012, can I still use them?

    I don't know to be honest. I understand trying to read Wiley is just very boring. I would have to take (Video game, watching sports) breaks because I was so bored.
