    I took my first exam – FAR today. I thought that the multiple choice was pretty good. The big questions killed me! Also I found myself running out of time. When I took the practice exams I would always have time left at the end. I think the biggest issue was the fact that it took at least 10 min if I wanted to take a break. By the time they took my prints, scanned me, find my name in the book, had me sign in. Anyways not to put the blame on the test center, but it definitely did not help. Now anxiously waiting the results.

    Another thing, does anyone else hate the calculator that's provided? When I did the big questions, it was in my way and very uncomfortable to use..

    OK I am done renting.

    Good luck to everyone!

    WE GOT THIS!

    I'm alittle late to the party!

    I can't seem to even speak or write coherent sentences. All the financial material has taken over my mind. I mix up words, stumble around with my sentences, and/or just can't get out what I'm thinking when I'm talking to other people. It is crazy!

    {R: PASSED!! (I passed one!)}
    {B: PASSED!! (Halfway there!)}
    {F: PASSED!! (1 left!!!)}
    {A: PASSED(I am done!!)}

    I haaaaaattteeee it when they give me a three line sad story about some pie in the sky stuff, and then a totally unrelated question on line four. I must say though, it works one out of five times. CPA you scary.

    Just finished AICPA release '13 and '12. A lot of those questions were tricky! Lets hope they were kicked out for being just that.

    Today was a good day, I understood bonds, sort of. I can set up an amortization schedule (up and down) and basic entries to record and pay interest. Shortly afterwards, I got a huge migraine this evening and wasn't good for much more than reading notes.

    I'm trying to think back to where I was last time I attempted this and I seem to recall I could barely recite the components of OCI, much less dissect a portfolio and categorize losses. I rushed to the testing center – forgot my NTS, drove down a wrong way street…highway, whatever what's done is done – arrived at the testing window and posted a 69. Interestingly enough! I first sat for FAR having done only chapters 1-3, filled the sims in with jibberish and posted a 59. Go figure!

    10 point combo, WTB done twice over, and I'm back at the sacrificial altar. I have Wednesday and 4/1 to nail FAR, and then I have eight weeks to re-do AUD, else I really start to lose the rest of my parts. AUD was a first pass for me and I didn't open chapter four.

    /rant over

    Good luck to this week's candidates!
